In Lime class this week we started our new topic ‘PREDATOR!’

The children learned some key vocabulary and built then drew food chains,  labelling each part carefully.

We looked at the features of a non-chronological report about a snow leopard and then researched and  wrote our own about polar bears.

We have been practising our times tables in maths – looking at multiplying by 3, 10 and 100.

In geography we met a peregrine falcon who introduced us to a birds eye view of the landscape, we watched as she soared through the sky and then drew a plan of our classroom seen from above.

We have been enjoying a reggae beat in our music lessons and we also decorated some paper bags to fill with prizes for the Christmas bazaar.

In Art we looked a pictures of predatory birds in flight and made sketches from them using soft pencils.
