We have had a very busy week full of lovely Christmassy traditions! After lots of hard work rehearsing, we performed our show ‘The Mouse in Santa’s House’. We performed to all of the children in the school and in the evening we performed to our families. There were a lot of songs, words and dances to learn but we were amazing!
On Thursday we watched the pantomime ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at Southmill Arts in Bishops Stortford. We had a great fun shouting, cheering and booing! In our English lesson, we read a different version of Jack and the Beanstalk. We could sequence the story and we also looked at powerful adjectives to describe the main characters.
In our spelling lesson we practised our Year 1 and 2 spelling words. We had to find the letter baubles and join them up with tinsel!
In our Maths lesson we practised counting in 2s and 10s.
