This week, we read and analysed two different poems. We looked at their features: title. repetition of words, verses, rhyming couplets and adjectives – feelings. The words and structure of the poem reflected the feeling and sensation of riding on a roller coaster. We then wrote our own poems. Some of us used one of the two previous poems as a structure for our poem and thought of ways of how to improve it e.g. by adding similes and noun phrases.


In Maths we looked at 2D and 3D shapes, and went on a scavenger hunt!







We compared and ordered fractions. In Computing, we celebrated the Safer Internet Day on the 9th February and created posters, in which we presented our rules or tips for staying safe online!













We also created our own e-safety characters and thought of their qualities!







In Science, we learnt how to design a pulley mechanism by pulling a string, which resulted in a controlled movement of a container.
