Lime Class this week has been busy, busy, busy!

In English we have been learning how to write effective explanations.  We have also learnt about the differences between a clause, a sentence and a phrase.

PE has had a fitness theme and Mr Edwards has been showing us lots of exercises to keep us active and healthy.

Forest was chilly but sunny and we all had a lovely time working together to build dens, climb trees, dig and  even attempt to make fire!

Science has been all about the force of friction – we investigated the force using books (a great trick that made us smile), we learnt what it was and we explained how it affected the world around us.  We even discovered how it could be really useful and how to reduce or increase the force.

In music we danced and sang to the Abba track ‘Mamma Mia’ and talked about how it made us feel.

We continued using scratch in our computing lessons – building our backgrounds and creating our sprites before we learn how to program the sprite to move.

This afternoon we enjoyed a drama lesson, before learning how to emboss patterns into paper in Art.

Finally, in PHSE we talked about feeling safe and unsafe. We positioned ourselves in between the signs safe and unsafe in our classroom depending on how we felt about given scenarios and then we discussed why we felt that way and what we could do about it.
