Nearly half term and we are still in top gear here in Lime class!
This week we have been thinking about what it would have been like to be one of the children sent to be eaten by the Minotaur – we took it in turns to be ‘in role’ and asked each other questions.
We worked together to read and analyse a letter to King Minos and then wrote one of our own, pleading with him for mercy.
We researched and wrote about what everyday life was like for the Ancient Greeks. Did you know that they used to play board games similar to snakes and ladders?
We have been singing away practising our harvest song and our song for the ERASMUS visitors after half term.
Using paper mache, we started to make Greek amphoras which we will paint when they have dried. It was messy work but it made us all smile.
It was such fun in the forest this week, we even had a fire!
