This week, in English, we wrote another recipe: how to make Roman Oat Honey Biscuits! The recipes were full of noun phrases and fronted adverbials, as well as many features of instructional texts (heading, introduction with a rhetorical question, subtitles, numbered steps, glossary).
In Maths, children read and interpreted line graphs. In Science, children named and ordered the planets in our solar system. What an amazing session it was, when they shared all the interesting facts they had researched! In Computing, they made posters showing the differences in the food between rich and poor Romans. We are definitely enjoy singing and signing the song ‘Just like a Roman’!
As every week, children had PE sessions, a forest school session on Friday and a Yoga lesson on Monday.
