What a busy time we have had in Lime class over the past fortnight. We have researched South American countries to create posters and returned to the question ‘South America – rich or poor?’ thinking about what we have learned about the continent.
We also discussed alternative meanings of the words rich and poor and thought about how they can be used in different ways.
In art we used watercolours and pastels to recreate some stunning William Morris designs.
Golden morning saw us mixing with our friends in different classes to do a range of activities, we also mixed up for our Christmas quiz which saw us answer History and Geography questions in teams.
We held auditions for our talent show and wowed the school with our range of talented performers!
We met our partner schools in Spain, Greece, Poland, Italy and Croatia on line for a celebration sharing presentations and songs from all over Europe.
Finally, we rounded it all off with a stunning performance of ‘sing up it’s Christmas’ for the rest of the school – recorded and shared on seesaw for your enjoyment!
Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year – See you all in January!
