This week, in English, we wrote formal letters to persuade the council of the benefits of wind farms. Children impressed with their arguments and the choice of emotive vocabulary.
In Maths, we worked with decimals with up to two decimal places, understood and recognised tenths and hundredths.
In Science, we started our new topic ‘Earth and Space’. We learnt interesting facts about the celestial bodies Sun, Moon and Earth and described their movement.

In PE on Tuesday, we practised passing the ball using volleyball techniques.
In DT, we investigated and analysed illuminated signs. We then had fun making working circuits – some of them quite noisy!
Last but not least, in PSHE, we looked at the UN Convention on the rights of the child and discussed the rights of the children. We read some articles and produced beautiful posters.
Have a lovely weekend!
