Lime class have finished writing up their Haiku poems ready to make a lovely classroom display. They have also read a poem about an eagle by the famous poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson.  They counted the syllables and found there were eight to a line, they also found the rhymes, a simile, a fronted adverbial and lots of adjective noun phrases in the poem.

In Geography they have been looking carefully at maps and map symbols, they played a game where they guessed what the symbols represented on an OS map.

In Science they enjoyed finding out about different carnivorous plants and the gruesome ways in which they catch and digest their prey!

Enjoy the Christmas bazaar and have a lovely weekend all.
