Our week started with BMX training. Needless to mention our excitement! We had the amazing opportunity to attend an inspirational workshop, followed by growth mindset assembly on the playground and a stunt display, which I think we will remember for years!

Our new class reading book is ‘Macbeth’ and this week, in English, we explored the opening of this play. We then wrote effective setting descriptions.  We used thesauruses and made vocabulary choices for effect, we used powerful vocabulary and figurative language to describe our setting.

In Maths, we learnt about prime numbers, square and cube numbers and we divided numbers by 10, 100 and 1000.

In RE, we learnt about the importance of Bethlehem to Christians. We then wrote a postcard from Bethlehem to a friend, explaining what it was like, what we have seen and why it is so important for Christians.

In Science, we described the process of sexual reproduction in flowering plants. We finished our lesson excitedly with a game of Bingo with the scientific vocabulary we used in the lesson.

Have a lovely weekend!
