5th July – 9th July 2021

Lime class have enjoyed learning about bees this week.  They were lucky to have a beekeeper visit, who talked to them about honey bees and how they live in the beehive.

The children started to make their own bee hotels using bamboo and plastic bottles.

In their Forest session, the children were asked to make bees from natural resources.

On Thursday morning, the children had a go at making their very own bees and then, in the afternoon, they made flapjacks using honey from Miss Todd’s dad’s beehive!
