This week, we have been busy writing newspaper reports about the first landing on the Moon. We also had a very exciting forest session!
Children shared their new forest names and we discussed how we keep ourselves and others safe!
The children were very excited, loud and definitely kept themselves busy. Some worked in 2s or small groups and worked cooperatively to build or make things. Some preferred climbing and chatting with others. They all participated in activities and chose what they would like to do.
Children enjoyed: playing the 123 game, lighting fairy pillows, climbing trees, finding and playing with clay, building dens, making swings and spinning ones and whittling! At the fire circle, the children enjoyed the hot chocolate and shared their feelings about the forest session. They expressed that the forest makes them feel: happy, excited, dizzy, joyful, calm, imaginative, cheerful and adventurous.
