Caterpillars creep through Week 4

This week has seen some wonderful writing from the Ash children  and the discovery of homophones! In Maths we have been learning about doubles and odd and even numbers. Talking about maths the BFG has been causing a whole lot of happiness in the main school playground. How tall do you think he is?

On Tuesday we lost our first tooth of the year…

We have been watching our caterpillars so closely, and even made them some friends, but no sign  of any cocoons yet.

In the Forest we had a friend watching over us from the trees while some of us cooked mini marshmallows on a fairy pillow fire.

The Ash children met Mrs Martin, their new teacher for September …

… then they had a very happy time exploring in Beech Class!

Our football stadium has been a great success!

Next week is ‘Bee Week’ across the school so we will be meeting a beekeeper , making honey sandwiches and learning some more about bees. Any bee stories or information will be gratefully received.

We hope you all have a good weekend and that Theodore has a very Happy Birthday!
