Pupils and staff at Little Hadham Primary welcomed 17 visiting European teachers from their partner schools in Spain, Italy Poland, Croatia and Greece this week as part of the EU’s Erasmus+ Project. What an amazing week we have all had, the participating teachers had the wonderful opportunity to discuss different approaches and methods for inclusion as well as strategies for the wellbeing and resilience of our pupils.
However, the part they enjoyed the most was observing lessons, they also observed a Yoga lesson, a Forest school session and shared presentations and videos of their schools and towns with the pupils. They had nothing but praise for our children who put them to task with numerous questions and anecdotes.
We were so proud of the way our children welcomed everyone and sang to them songs in Italian, Spanish and Greek in a celebratory music assembly. The visitors praised their outstanding behaviour, fantastic attitudes to learning and warm smiles!
It was such a joy to share our wonderful school with our visitors and to hear and see how amazed they were with our children and all we do- it was a very proud moment for us all here.
