Final few days

What a warm final few days of the school year…! The children have done really well in spite of the heat and have enjoyed lots of different activities, from writing certificates for one another, to completing a team quiz, from stories in the shade of the trees, to helping animals break free from ice using the warmth from their hands! An activity that went down very well was learning more about the ocean with the help of the Octonauts (accompanied with an ice lolly!) for the children’s jewel jar treat! We also really enjoyed a big party with the children in Beech class and loved having a picnic with our grown ups!

Mrs Lammin, Mrs Davies, Ms Lane and I are incredibly proud of all the children and what they have been able to achieve this year. Ash class, you will amaze your new Year One teachers, and Saplings, we cannot wait to share another year with you!

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all, from all the EYFS team, for your kind words and generosity this week. We are blown away and very appreciative! I also wanted to thank you all for your continued support over this academic year; it really has been a pleasure to work with all of you and your children.

Have a wonderful Summer break, fingers crossed for bright, slightly cooler days filled with lots of smiles. See you all in September!

Mrs Lawrence 🙂
