It has been so wonderful to see all the children back and to hear the lovely buzz of learning in each class. We loved hearing all the stories about what they have been doing in the holidays and we have been really impressed with the way that they have coped with the new routines and procedures in school today. Thank you to all for trying your best to arrive on time to drop off and pick up, I don’t know who broke the weather at home time, but hopefully it won’t be everyday! Remember, if you do arrive early please do wait in the car, rather than around the gate, until it’s time for your child to enter. This will help ease congestion at the gates. We really do appreciate all your help and support with this to keep everyone safe.
Although it is sad that we cannot meet you on the playground or in school to chat and catch up as we usually love to do, please be assured that we are still very contactable and if you have any concerns we would urge you to phone the school so that we can help you to speak to or get your message to the right member of staff. Even though we are having to use alternative means of communication we truly value working in partnership with you to ensure that your children have the happiest and very best primary education possible.
We hope that the children have enjoyed their first day back and are full of stories of what they did in school today. We look forward to welcoming them back again tomorrow and that they are not too exhausted!
