Forget the kilometres and remember the cause!

And just like that we are at the end of our second full week back! This week has seen an increased emphasis on high quality learning in classes. On my daily visits into classes this week it still amazes me how well pupils have re-adapted back into the daily life of school. This is particularly noticeable in our Nursery and Reception classes, where children have settled in fantastically well.

Like me, I am sure many of you are following the news closely and will be aware of the increasing rate of Covid infections nationally and locally. Thankfully Little Hadham Primary continues to feel as safe as possible in the circumstances. I would like to say a huge thank you for the collective efforts of all parents and carers to make drop off and pick up safer. Efforts to keep children safely by your side, parents patiently waiting by or in their cars at pick up and punctual drop offs have made a notable difference. With the infection rate rising, little things like this will play a significant part in our attempts to keep school open for all.

This is the start of our safe, fun and sporty fundraiser for the school and we would love to see as many pupils, parents, friends, family and neighbours as possible to join in.¬† Everyone can take part as it can be as short or as long as you like, and you can start and finish at your own home! Some people are starting from the school at 10 am and will run a route around Little Hadham. Do feel free to join us at this time but remember we will have to social distance and can’t run in groups of more than 6.

Please remember, if you haven’t already, ¬†make a donation via the GoFundMe page:

Have a lovely weekend,
