Getting along so well

We really have had a great week of working together, helping one another, singing together and having lots of fun.

On Tuesday we really enjoyed watching Beech Class perform the story of Stick Man. So many of the children were delighted to see their big brothers and sisters and what a brilliant job they all did.

Thursday saw many of us at the Rapunzel pantomime in Bishops Stortford. Going on the coach was a great highlight of the afternoon. All the excitement definitely took its toll on a few of us! PS Mrs Lammin LOVES a pantomime!

Thank you to everyone who was able to come to our Winter Celebration on Friday. We all enjoyed sharing a very special hour with you and were glad that so many of you were able to get a teeny insight into Forest School. It was great to have so many little siblings (amazingly all girls!) joining in with us – it felt like a wonderful testament to our approach and ethos here at Little Hadham and it really made my heart sing, and dance of course!

It was  a touching moment and a vey fitting thing for me to do when we gave each of the children their own sapling Norway Spruce tree  to take home to plant.

We hope that with a little bit of care the trees will continue to grow and flourish . This was a wonderful last session of Forest School at Little Hadham for me.  A journey that I began on a very, very wet, cold day in February 2014 (In Barnet!) and which is now a fully embedded part of life here in our school.

So … only one and a half more days to go …

Monday looks like being a great and busy day . The children will all need a carrier bag in school and:

  • There is a LUCKY DIP in school as the YOUNG DRAGONS hope to raise even more money for the SPACE charity. The children have been asked to bring in £1 to take part.  Every ticket is a winner!
  • We will be having a little party in the Early Years on Monday morning
  • It’s Christmas lunch day!

Tuesday will hopefully be a little calmer!

Enjoy the weekend. Rest. Stay safe.
