Half Term starts with a Splash

It was so lovely to see the children back after their half term break – they all seem to have shot up!

We started off our half term with a forest session where the fairies had left us some sparkly, glittery toadstools. We practised our fire lighting skills with fire strikes and even tried to see if we could start one with magnifying glasses.

While we are on the subject of forest, please could children come to school in long trousers and long sleeves for our sessions on Tuesday mornings, this helps protect them from scratches and nettle stings. They can bring shorts and t-shirts to change into afterwards if they wish.

We have made the most of the nice weather in the garden and had a visit from a very friendly baby bunny.

Finally to end the week we had a water day which was lots of fun and very wet!

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
