This week we have explored the powerful themes in the stunning picture book ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers. Some of the themes include kindness, tolerance and environmental responsibility. At the end of the book we are reminded that the most important thing for children to know about life on earth is that they are loved. The text has provided us with lots of opportunities for rich discussion and writing!
In Science, we looked at how light is reflected and discovered that the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection!
We know how to keep fit too. Fun was had in our Tag Rugby session this week and there was plenty of team work to be seen as we crossed the giant river (the hall floor) without getting wet!
