I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll… put some new flooring in!!

What an exciting week for the children in Early Years!

The children have been doing a brilliant job with their learning. We have been working on addition in maths and have done a brilliant job with our phonics where Ash class have learnt y, z, qu, ch and Saplings have learnt i, n, m, d.

After enjoying the story of The Three Little Pigs, the children were eager to try and make houses in the forest that were strong enough to withstand the Wolf blowing them down! The children seems to decide that the trees and stumps were the strongest materials for the job.

(The den making continued inside, though comfort was the main objective for this activity!)

The most exciting thing this week was the big classroom move, ready for a brand new floor to be put in! The children made the most of enjoying the classroom space without all the furniture and toys inside on Thursday afternoon! Friday was a lot of fun in Elm class and we enjoyed taking a sneaky peak through our classroom windows to check in on the progress of our floors!
