On Thursday, Willow Class were full of ‘Great Expectations’ as they stepped back to the time of the Victorian era. Year 6 fully immersed themselves in Charles Dicken’s world and enjoyed a wonderful live-streamed performance by The Globe Players.

This was followed by a day filled with activities with a Victorian ‘twist’ including silhouette miniature portraits, sewn Christmas tree cards, iced Christmas ginger biscuits, Christmas tree decorations and Victorian style playground games. The children (and staff!) had a great day and we think they looked the part, too, with their fabulous costumes.
