What a packed last week we have had in the Early Years.
Monday we started off our Sports week with some team races in the hall. There was some very impressive balancing of beanbags on heads and eggs on spoons – we did better than the Year 6 children that were helping out.
In our Forest session there were lots off bees created with what we found and some impressive mud balls were made.
Wednesday’s sporting activity was a ‘Wild Workout’ where we were all minibeasts, it was lots of fun. We also drew maps for the Beebots with lots of places for us to program them to visit.
On Thursday it was lovely to welcome the new children who came for a visit and to try out school dinners.
We ended the week with our jewel jar treat which was to go in the hall and use the apparatus. It was sooooo much fun and it looks like Mrs Nicklin enjoyed it as much as the children!
We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to Mr Battle who has worked very hard in our garden digging up stinging nettles, cutting down a tree and painting the fence.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend and we’ll see you all on Monday. Have a very Happy Birthday Freddie!
