Lime 21st April

We have started back after the Easter holidays with smiles and energy!

This week we all have our thespian heads on as rehearsals for our performance are in full swing and we can’t wait to share it with you. The children are so enthusiastic and are enjoying every minute so far…….we are hoping to have a treat in store for you!

In addition to lots of acting and singing this week we have written some amazing shape poems about a tornado and we are in the process of writing more about different weather types. We have learnt some new verbs in French and in Maths we have been looking at statistics and how to collect, record and interpret them.

We have spent time evaluating our successes and challenges in making our books with moving parts – an essential part of the design technology process.  Next week we hope to share them with the younger children so that we can gather research data about their reactions. Finally, we will conclude by deciding how successful our product was overall and what we would change about it to make it even better.

Some of us have been helping Mrs Battle paint scenery and we have started learning tennis, rounders and athletics in PE with our fantastic sports coaches.

We will begin our new history topic next week and details can be found on the class letter which will be posted on our class page soon. We are keeping it quiet at the moment so that there will be an exciting and engaging introductory lesson where the details will be gradually revealed!!!
