Lime Class 24th March

This week we have been writing an adventure story based on ‘rhythm of the rain ‘ by Grahame Baker-Smith. Trying hard to include some of the beautiful vocabulary from the original story.

In maths we have been learning how to add and subtract fractions, and we welcomed our parents and carers in for a learning together morning where we all enjoyed the challenge of an equivalent fractions tarsia puzzle.

Our Geography this week was all about river pollution. Then we researched and made posters about the river Nile – is it really the longest river in the world?  What do you think?

We have been enjoying more gymnastics lessons with our sports coach and have had fun designing our books with moving parts for DT.
