Lime Class 7th July

Wow! Where has the year gone?

We are still packing it in here in Lime Class with using word processors in computing, looking at the geometry of capital letters and sorting rocks in Science.

Then, of course, came art week.  We looked at famous paintings, discussed famous artists and though about where we could find famous galleries.

Lime class looked at the work of a little known Columbian artist called Julio Cesar for their inspiration.  He painted a picture in memory of Paulette Wilson and the Windrush generation and we recreated in several ways – pencil, watercolour, paint on canvas and three dimensions. I think you will all agree that the results were stunning!

All was displayed at our wonderful exhibition on Friday where we welcomed our families in to see.

What a treat – thank you all for your support.
