October already!

Another week has whizzed past.

This week we have started thinking about sounds; Ash have been learning about ‘S’ and Saplings have made listening ears and been on a walk around school to see what they can hear.

We have also been reading ‘Here We Are’ and some of the children have been writing about looking after our world.

Our forest session was a bit soggy today but we still had lots of fun and we had ‘Boggle Hot Chocolate’ to warm us up! Thank you to all those that sent their children in with waterproofs and those that passed on their outgrown ones.

A photographer from The Bishop’s Stortford Independent came to take a photograph of the Ash Class children today for their starting school pullout – keep an eye out for us!

Don’t forget that there is a different school dinner menu next week, copies were sent home but it can also be found in the ‘Parents’ section of the website.

From next week could children please bring in their book bags daily (or a named carrier bag).

Finally, if your child has a copy of ‘Cinderella’ that they would be willing to lend us please could you send it in next week. Thank you.

Have a lovely restful weekend.
