We just like to smile. Smiling is our favourite!

Happy Christmas Jumper Day! On Friday, it was time to sparkle in our jazziest Christmas jumpers – and sparkle we did! Thank you for supporting this special day.

We love a performance in Year 6, so rehearsing some poetry in preparation for a poetry competition was great fun. We are certainly not short on ideas and enthusiasm.

Fabulous fractions anyone? We can’t get enough of fractions. We’ve added, subtracted, multiplied and now we are learning to divide fractions. It’s safe to say that fractions are becoming a favourite of ours. Great use of prior knowledge this week, Year 6.

In Computing, we continued our coding and learned how to use the ‘show’ and ‘hide’ blocks and change scenes. A favourite part of our lessons is sharing our work with others. We learn so much from each other.

Qu’est-ce que tu fais le weekend? We love playing football, going to the cinema, reading… and we know how to tell you en fran├žais! We played a game using our new vocabulary – c’est fantastique!

In Science, it was time to share our completed board games based on the circulatory system. What a creative group we are! There were so many different and interesting ideas and the questions included in each game really tested our knowledge from this topic. We think our games would make great gifts to play this Christmas.

When it’s cold outside, huddle together in a shelter and share some smiles! A dark and cold December day does not dampen our spirits when we have our Forest session.

Do they know it’s Christmastime? We think so! Just look at us rehearsing our Christmas song! A microphone brings out the inner pop star in each of us! Sir Bob Geldof would be proud.

Stay warm and well this chilly weekend.
