Week 4 of Remote Learning

It was a very snowy start to the week, we hope you all had a chance to get out and explore in it.

This week has been very busy thinking about numbers 6, 7 and 8. We’ve learnt about time and you have made some amazing clocks, including a grandfather clock complete with pendulum. We’ve also had a ‘guest teacher’ explaining to us how to make a water clock.

Your Tales Toolkit stories have been AMAZING with trips to the moon, rainforests, going on safari, the beach and lots of other exciting places where you have met snowmen, carrots, hungry bears and lots of other interesting characters. We have so many authors in our class, well done all of you! We have loved reading all of them.

Mrs Nicklin’s amaryllis is impressing us all with how fast it is growing. I wonder who will have guessed it’s final height and what it’s flowers will look like?

Make sure you all have a rest this week and we look forward to seeing what you get up to next week!
