The year 3 children in Lime class have been enjoying street dance lessons on a Monday afternoon, don’t worry year 4 – its your turn next!
In French we have been learning traditional children’s songs and rhymes and our Geography lesson this week introduced us to the country of Peru as a contrast to our local area here in the UK.
Our class book, the Iron Man, has a very mysterious opening page and this week we analysed this beginning and then tried to write our own story starters or ‘hooks’ in the same style. We hope that they hook you in and make you want to read more!
Maths this week has been all about division and, as well as learning formal written methods, we had fun using practical equipment to solve problems involving division.
In our chilly PE lesson we kept warm playing hockey and we also all worked together to create our own improvised games in the forest.
We carried on embossing in art but this week we used tin foil and paintbrush handles to create our raised patterns.
