Welcome to Beech Class

Welcome to Beech Class! What an exceptional beginning our children have had. They’ve seamlessly settled in, shown great dedication in their work, and enthusiastically forged new friendships.

Our students have access to a fantastic outdoor area, complete with a variety of exciting activities. These include a mud kitchen, a newly constructed stage, small world play, art area, construction area, water and sand play areas, and a fully equipped play kitchen, just to name a few.

This week, our young learners had their inaugural dance session with Zoe, where they collaborated with partners. They also had a blast honing their ball skills under the guidance of Matt, in addition to their weekly forest adventures led by Connor.

In the realm of art, the children ventured into the forest to collect natural materials, crafting sculptures inspired by the works of the renowned artist, Andy Goldsworthy.

In history, we delved into the life and achievements of the gymnast extraordinaire, Simone Biles. Our discussions revolved around why she stands out as a significant figure, even examining her two signature moves.

Meanwhile, in our science lessons, we continued exploring the fascinating world of animal diets. The children had the opportunity to categorise animals into three dietary groups: carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores.

We trust you will have a splendid weekend and eagerly anticipate another week filled with fun and enriching learning experiences. Please note that more photographs will follow.
