From Frying Eggs to Finding Frogs: A Week of Scientific Discovery 26th June 2026 - Our learning in science has linked beautifully with our work in English. The children have begun using their scientific knowledge to support their explanation writing. They have been learning how to explain why animals live in particular habitats and how those habitats meet their needs
Learning, Growing and Exploring in Beech Class 12th June 2026 - They have been learning the difference between crotchets, quavers, minims, and rests, and are becoming more confident at recognising and performing these symbols.
A Fantastic Finish to the Half Term 22nd May 2026 - It has been wonderful to see the children continue to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity this half term.
Poems, Poppies, and Painted Worlds 8th May 2026 - The children took great care with their painting, textures and details, and the classroom has been filled with bright and creative displays

A Week of Discovery, Creativity, and Problem-Solving 13th March 2026 - It was a fantastic opportunity for them to practice public speaking and to think critically about the topic. They also continued measuring the growth of their plants and created graphs to analyse the data they collected.
