  • Poems, Poppies, and Painted Worlds 8th May 2026 - The children took great care with their painting, textures and details, and the classroom has been filled with bright and creative displays
  • The show must go on! 26th April 2026 - What a performance - well done Lime Class.
  • Beech Class Blooms with Learning This Week 24th April 2026 - Outdoor learning and forest school sessions have also given children opportunities to explore, work together and apply their skills in different environments.
  • From Royal Tea Parties to Springtime Creativity 27th March 2026 - . This provided a lovely opportunity to working on sentence writing, spelling, and expressing kind messages to others.
  • A Week of Discovery, Creativity, and Problem-Solving 13th March 2026 - It was a fantastic opportunity for them to practice public speaking and to think critically about the topic. They also continued measuring the growth of their plants and created graphs to analyse the data they collected.
  • A Week of Imagination, Exploration, and Discovery 27th February 2026 - In Science, we have been investigating our Big Question: Does exercise affect heart rate?
  • Drama, Descriptions, and a Love of Reading 6th February 2026 - One of the most wonderful aspects of this week has been the children’s growing love of reading
  • Time, Tales and Tunes 23rd January 2026 - This work with body percussion is an important step as they prepare to sing traditional sea shanties.
  • A Brilliant Beginning to the New Year 9th January 2026 - The Year 2 children wrote a biography about Barbara Hepworth, our designer of the term, learning about her life, achievements and artistic work.
  • A Week of Winter Wonders 15th December 2025 - The children have also been exploring winter through art. The children looked closely at pictures of snowy landscapes and talked about the colours, textures, and feelings they noticed.
