We are a Year 6 class. Our Class Teacher is Mrs Lucy Tweedale.

  • Testing times…! 17th May 2024 - Not for us! We took everything in our stride this week. SATs papers completed and smiles all round. Well done, Year 6!
  • Darwin’s discoveries and DNA extraction! 3rd May 2024 - From learning about Charles Darwin's discoveries to extracting DNA from strawberries, it's definitely been an exciting week full of learning in Year 6!
  • We’re back and we’re busy! 19th April 2024 - Field fun, perfect portraits and surprising statistics! A busy, productive start to the summer term...

  • Frosty missions and heartbeats! 19th January 2024 - From Arctic missions and polar exploration to pumping blood and exploring the functions of the heart, our learning has certainly kept us warm this week!
  • Year 6 get their skates on! 19th December 2023 - 'If you fall down, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try again.' ...and have a splendid time on the ice!
  • A week full of sparkle and shine! 15th December 2023 - "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more." It certainly does in Willow Class!
