As a Community School, Little Hadham Primary School follows the County Policy for Admissions. Parents apply direct to the County.
Nursery (EYFS1) pupils join our Early Years Unit in the September of the academic year in which they are four years old. Nursery pupils attend our Saplings Class from 9-12 daily. However, some parents may elect for their child to have a staged entry into our school .e.g. Three mornings initially.
In Saplings Class (EYFS1) our pupil admissions number (PAN) is 26 places.
Reception (EYFS2) pupils join our Early Years Unit in the September of the academic year in which they are five years old. In line with our Transition Policy, the children have a staged entry in to school, building up ideally to attending school all day by Week 3.
In EYFS2 (Ash Class) our pupil admissions number (PAN) is 20 places, which is standard across all year groups throughout the school.
Home visits, prior to starting, are also part of our Transition Policy for both EYFS1 and EYFS2 pupils. These provide Early Years Staff with a more in depth pupil profile.
