A week with a spring in our step!

What a celebratory week we have had to mark the arrival of the Easter holidays!

The children absolutely wowed us with their poetic retelling of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen for our Poetry by Heart performance! The children have been enjoying using this story as inspiration for their literacy work this term, with a particular focus on strengthening and broadening their vocabulary.

Golden morning had the children engaging in all sorts of exciting activities, from circus skills to crafting, gardening to dancing! It was lovely to share our different experiences when we came back together again.

Something was different about forest school this week… the children noticed some furry friends had come to join us! The chicks needed taking care of and the children certainly stepped up to the mark, creating nests and cosy dens for their chicks.

We also really enjoyed sharing the children’s successes with you all during parents consultations. The children have really been working very hard and building their characteristics of effective learning over this last term. Thank you all for your continued support, and we wish you a very bright and sunny Easter break!
