Firstly – a huge apology for the lack of photos this week. It appears that our memory card malfunctioned 🙁
As we reach the end of another busy and exciting school year, we want to take a moment to thank all our wonderful Year 3 and 4 families for their continued support throughout the year. Your generous gifts, kind cards, and warm wishes have meant so much to us – thank you! We are truly touched by your thoughtfulness. It has been a pleasure teaching your children, and we are so proud of how much they have grown and achieved this year.
Throughout the year children have worked incredibly hard across all areas of the curriculum and made strong progress. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and resilience have been a joy to witness, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. We also want to say a huge thank you to all of you at home – your encouragement, help with homework, and involvement in school life have played such an important role in their success.
This week has been full of fun and memorable moments. We loved enjoying the fantastic Image Theatre production of The Jungle Book, and it was lovely to see so many of you at Sports Day and at the family picnic on the last day. A real highlight was the entertaining football match between Year 6 and the parents – a perfect way to round off the year!
This children also had great fun creating memory posters and showed off their knowledge, alongside Maple and Willow classes, in our lively KS2 humanities quiz, where competition was stiff with many teams scoring 37, 38 and 39 out of 40. The winning team actually scored full marks – an amazing achievement!
As we say goodbye to some children moving on to their new class in September, we will miss them dearly and wish them the very best experience in Maple class across the corridor! For everyone else, we can’t wait to welcome you back in September for another exciting year. Until then, we wish you all a restful, joyful, and safe summer holiday. Thank you again for everything – have a wonderful break!
