In English this week we all looked at a picture of a magical Christmas scene. The children used their prior of adjectives, adverbs and conjunctions to write some wonderful descriptions. Some highlights included: The magical reindeers are guiding Santa’s sleigh through the starry sky. The curious animals were watching as Santa flies away quickly.
Lights Camel Action was the triumph of the year and the highlight of our week. The children were astounding! They learnt lines, songs and dances and performed them with real pazzaz! The children performed to the rest of the school in the morning and then did an evening performance to their families. They even received a standing ovation! A big thank you to adults at home for helping with costumes and lines.
Our week of theatre continued on Thursday when we went to the pantomime in Bishop’s Stortford. The children enthusiastically joined in with the action and it was a wonderful experience for all.
Our theatrical week continued into Friday with Little Hadham’s got talent! We had many auditions earlier in the week and it was hard to choose just four acts to go through. We had musical acts, gymnastics and comedy. The children loved supporting their friends and watching acts from across the week.
