Shows Galore!

Our days have been filled with shows this week in Early Years! It began with our wonderful dance show and the children were fantastic and remembered some tricky dance moves. During rehearsals they concentrated, listened carefully and followed the instructions well. It certainly paid off on the day.

Next up was watching the KS1 Christmas show dress rehearsal with the rest of the school. They really enjoyed watching the show and joined in with the booing and cheering. Ash and Saplings sat so beautifully, we were very proud of their behaviour.

Following on from that was our very own Early Years Christmas Show and they were all superstars. They remembered all the songs and actions and sung their hearts out, with huge smiles on their faces! Mrs Webb and Mrs Lammin were incredibly proud of all of them.

Our next show was watching Cinderella at Southmill Arts and great fun was had by all. The excitement started when we boarded a pink double decker bus at the school and we enjoyed singing ‘The Wheels on the Bus’ led by some of the Maple class children! When we got to the theatre the children loved joining in with cheers of “he’s behind you!”

On Friday we enjoyed Christmas dinner with the whole school.

Our final curtain for the week of shows was watching Little Hadham’s Got Talent. We saw dancers, singers, magicians, comedians, musicians and more.  The children sat so beautifully and applauded all the acts enthusiastically. What an exciting time we’re having in Early Years as we count down to Christmas!
