LIME
It was a very frosty morning – so frosty that the lock for the shed wouldn’t open! That didn’t stop Lime Class from heading out and having a whale of a time. A huge group carried on from where they were last week and played a (still very confusing) game of Among Us. People kept forgetting what their jobs were, so there were lots of restarts! A fantastic campsite was made, including mini fire circle and a small group of explorers camped out there for the session. A group made a very gloopy potion in the test tube, using lots of green leaves.
WILLOW
After the big finale on Friday, Willow class were keen to continue playing Traitors in the forest. There were only 5 contestants remaining but were they all faithful…? There was a very dangerous mission for the traitors where they had to put a small dot of mud on someone’s cheek. That person would then have zero votes at the next round table. It caused a huge kerfuffle and wasn’t overly subtle! Much like in Lime class, a trio wanted to find the perfect place to camp out, so made their way up into the tree and had a good gossip!
EYFS
Floating and sinking was the name of the game in the forest for Ash and Saplings today. The 2 giant puddles made it very easy to see what things floated. They started using leaves and small sticks but it wasn’t long until it turned into the splash zone, as big logs were plopped in and mud sprayed everywhere! After a while, lots of shouting could be heard and they rushed over to see what the fuss was. A group had decided to try and roll over the biggest log in the forest and they got everyone to push with all their might. It didn’t work but they had great fun working as a team.
BEECH
Beech Class also embraced the mud. They had a discussion at the beginning about not splashing people who didn’t want to get muddy and decided to ask, ‘I’m going to splash, is everyone okay?’ before dropping anything and it was a pretty good system. A very lovely forest house was made and inside they were cooking food, looking through their stick window and also using the hand print system that allowed them entry! Someone also discovered some holes under the shed and decided that a badger was living under there.
MAPLE
Maple Class were ready as ever to get out in the mud and after some disappointment that the swing was out of action again, they were off adventuring. A huge gang decided to play a territories game and set up boundaries marking their area. Other people would try to sneak in without them knowing and they had a great time. The beginnings of a very cool stick den was coming together but after it kept toppling down, they realised some rope might be needed. A terrifying worm also came up through the ground and caused a lot of screaming!
