What An Amazing Year

We can’t believe it’s the end of the school year already! Ash and Saplings have had such an amazing year and are now certainly ready to move up to their new classes. We are going to miss the Ash children very much and we wish them all the best with their move up to Beech class.

We have had a jam packed final week of term, full of fun and sunshine. Ash and Saplings were lucky to watch the Year 6 rehearsal for their leavers show on Tuesday, followed by a performance of The Selfish Giant in the afternoon. The children really enjoyed watching the shows and had great fun joining in with all the songs and actions.

Early Years Sports Day was a great success and it was a wonderful opportunity for the children to share their sporting abilities with their parents. Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend, the parent participation really spurred the children on!

Because the children have been so fantastic all year, they have been treated to quite a few jewel in the jar treats, including having the guinea pigs visit and ice lollies. They are very well deserved.

On Friday we had a party in the morning and finished off with a lovely picnic on the field.

The Early Years staff would like to say a very big thank you to the parents for their generous gifts and kind words in cards, they are very much appreciated. We have loved teaching your children this year and hope you all have a wonderful summer.
